Thoughts: Today is June 8th which means it’s the goats birthday. Happy Birthday Mr. Kanye West. To be clear this is a Kanye stan blog I unapologetically love Kanye West’s music. The Graduation album changed my life as it was the first album I bought for myself. Also I remember when this album dropped it dropped on the same day as 50 Cent’s Curtis which was September 11th, 2007. With the albums dropping the same day 106 and Park had both artists on the show and called it the Clash of the Titans. September 11th, 2007 was a great day for hip-hop.

It is hard for me to pick a favorite track from the record because what this album means to me. However, I listen to The Glory before any presentation or talk I give. The song pumps me up and reminds me that my work is always in service to something bigger than myself.
