I strongly disagree with my dear sister Robin Givhan here. I believe Pharrell’s resume and reputation proceeds him. In fact, I would go as far to say that Pharrell is more than qualified given his creation of many fashion lines as well as collaborations with Adidas and BAPE just to name a few. But, beyond his experience his platform is more valuable. We live in a hip-hop culture, where hip-hop sets the global trends. Pharrell has long been a trendsetter. I think this is a great fit for Pharrell, and I believe he is going to do great. What do ya’ll think?
