In it’s newest installment COVID-19 re-introduces the world to hockey. Professional sports have been back since July 23rd starting with the MLB. And since, Dr. Fauci bounced the first pitch up the first base line the MLB has been a mess. Then seven days later the NBA returned. However, unlike Rob Manfred NBA commissioner Adam Silver has a brain and set up the NBA to live and play in a quarantine bubble in Orlando, Florida. The Bubble so far has proven to be successful. Following in Silver’s footsteps the NHL commissioner Gary Bettman has choose to go with the bubble as well. In fact, the NHL has two bubbles one for the western conference and one for the eastern conference. The two bubbles are located in Canada . The eastern conference bubble is in Toronto and the western conference bubble is in Edmonton. With both locations in Canada I predict that the NHL will be successful because so far Canada has proven they handled COVID better than the US.
